"We came to the olive tree on Christmas Day. This is the first time we have eaten out on Christmas Day as I have a newborn and couldn’t be bothered to cook this year. Our experience was 10/10! The staff were friendly and timely even though they had given up their Christmas to serve us! Food was amazing and we even were greeted with a glass of fizz and had Christmas crackers on the table! Highly recommend, might even be back next year to save us cooking!"

"This establishment boasts the most delectable salmon and cocktails I have ever had the pleasure of savoring. The salmon was cooked to perfection, its tender flesh melting in my mouth with each bite. The atmosphere of the establishment was equally captivating, with dim lighting and intimate seating creating an ambiance that was both inviting and sophisticated. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, providing impeccable service throughout the evening."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a fantastic meal at The Olive Tree in Blyth. It’s a lovely family-run restaurant with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The food was absolutely beautiful — full of flavour and really well presented — and the prices are very good for the excellent quality. A special shout-out to Brandon, who was our waiter for the evening. He was friendly, attentive, and really made the experience even better. Highly recommend!"

"I took mam along for the early bird menu for tea. We were super impressed at the selection of dishes for such a great price. I had the very tasty Arancini to start... then a delicious garlic chicken pizza. The dough was so soft at the crust and absolutely delicious. I couldn't quite finish it ! Mam had the potato skins (loads of them) with garlic dip then the risotto di mare, which she said was very tasty and well seasoned... delicious. The restaurant is beautiful and really cosy with a great ambience. Staff were friendly and attentive and all of that for less than £35 between us (including soft drinks). Absolute bargain ! Highly recommend and we will 100% be back. The main menu had a great range of choices and competitively priced too.... also need to try the desserts next time when we have more room."

"This place really has so much potential and only a few snall tweaks would be a winner for sure. We ate as a family of 4 last night (Friday) as we were in the area we specifically sourced out this place as I had seen the menu online which offers a vast choice and I could have happily chose 5 or 6 dishes. There were a few tables already seated and a good few more followed us in. However front of house there was only one server and to be honest he was absolutely beyond fantastic! He was seating people, taking orders, running food, covering the bar, payments, clearing tables and all with a smile on his face, professional and polite a real asset to the business. Ordered a few meals but my daughter and I shared the steak sharer which was presented beautifully. Sadly the steak was a little over cooked, the chicken and pork a little tough and parts were cold as did sit under the heatlamps a small wait which I understand couldnt be helped with the poor server run ragged. It was small things like we ended up eating from our side bread plates with no steak knife that could easily be turned around but did impact our meal. The food was perfectly seasoned and even the chips, salted were very tasty, the onion rings if a little warmer would have been a treat too. I understand whether it be staff sickness or having to try and cut costs as its such a hard time for hospitality but I would love to see this place thrive the decor and ambience was second to none so would give it another try."
